dc.description.abstract | This study reports on the relationship between engagement with activity and functional status in a sample of 92 older adults. Engagement was found to be a significant predictor of functional status as measured by the Lawton-Brody Instrumental Activities of Daily Living Scale, but was not statistically significant when functional status was measured using the Katz Index of Independence in Activities of Daily Living. Age was found to be a significant covariate, but comorbidity, depression, and marital status were not statistically significant in the models tested. | |
