Dr. Lee's primary research goal is to broaden knowledge around the mental health and quality of life among older adults with cognitive impairment. Dr. Lee is interested in social participation/social connectedness and psychosocial interventions for these older adults and their family caregivers. Dr. Lee is also interested in disparities in health and health care systems. By focusing on underrepresented populations in research, Dr. Lee's research informs practice and policy to reduce health disparities in older adults.
